Typhoon Fung-wong

The Pheonix is Coming

The calm before the storm

Typhoon Fung-wong [鳳凰(Phoenix)] is approaching Taiwan from the east. The eye of this storm is forecast to hit central Taiwan tomorrow morning. Several counties have already announced typhoon holidays.

This typhoon comes right after Typhoon Kalmaegi, which caused flash floods, landslides, and took the lives of 19 people. I hope that there is no loss of life and minimal property/environmental damage as a result of this one.
