I hope everyone here the best in riding this one out. I will be taking a flight tomorrow morning for a 5-day vacation to Kyoto and Osaka. Hopefully the typhoon will not interfere with those plans.
I hope so as well. Last time, flights were delayed for hours if not canceled during the typhoon. I was traveling at the time.
Hi Todd, Hope you made it to Japan without any problems. The weather there should be a lot better than in Taipei. Have a great trip.
we flew out the same day. Luckily my flight was in the morning, and I hope yours was too; they were cancelling all afternoon departures.
Thanks everyone.
Our flight left an hour early to avoid the storm… we had a bumpy take-off but absolutely no turbulence 10 minutes after the beginning of our flight. I just got back to Taipei, I’m sure I’ll get around to posting in the next few days or so.
