Matsu’s Folk Cultural Artifacts Exhibition Hall is located on Nangan [南竿] (Matsu’s largest island). The museum introduces visitors to the culture and lifestyle of the Matsu islands.
The museum houses many photos, objects, and life-size scenes. It also houses a handful of interactive displays and films.
Although the displays are very visually appealing, at the moment very few of the displays have English and the museum has no audio guides or supplementary information in English.

One of Taiwan’s great failures is its inability to attract tourists. It would be nice after going through so much effort to make such a nice museum they could go one extra step and make it more accessible to tourists.
