On Sunday, we took a trip to Juming Museum in Chin-shan, northern Taiwan. Juming Museum is a giant outdoor showcase for the sculptures of Ju Ming. Unfortunately for us, except for the final half-hour of our trip, it was raining during much of our time there. I don’t know if weather forecasts in Taiwan are accurate, or whether it is simply impossible to predict the weather in Taiwan, because when we were on the bus ride to the museum, everyone was surprised when it began to rain.
From a distance, I thought this was a giant middle-finger:
The zipper-pond was created by Ju Ming’s son, Ju Jun:

Hopefully I can make a return trip when the weather is a little more agreeable.
I saw a special about his sculptures on TV… it looked really neat. How long did it take you to get there?
We took the bus that picked us up in front of the Taipei Fine Arts Museum… the ride was about 40 minutes.
