Daily Photo – Sony

Sony Promotion - Taipei
A promotional event for Sony outside of New York, New York Department Store in Xinyi, Taipei.

I’ve already decided on my next computer.  There’s no way she could have convinced me to buy a Viao.

It’s said that Mac is better for photo editing… is that right?

Some people prefer Mac for photo editing, but they don’t really have any advantage over a Windows machine. I do believe video editing is better on a Mac though.

Buying a Windows-based machine did not factor into the decision at all. The new desktop will be replacing an aging iBook G4 which has served me well since 2005 [Lightroom 2 runs fine, just slowly. Once you go Mac, you never go back.

I invested in an imac this past year. it is absolutely superb. although i am of course regretting not waiting just a FEW more months till these new ones came out but it’s still superbbbbb. dont know how i’m going to get it back to taiwan when i move back though… you will love it. photo editing is so much easier on it!

hello_beebs – there’s no doubt in my mind I’ll enjoy it. My iBook still does almost everything I need flawlessly, but once I fire up LR2 its age really shows.
