Over the weekend I had the distinct honor and pleasure of attending a Taiwan Blogger meet-up hosted by MJ Klein in the lovely town of Hukou in Hsinchu County. Several bloggers attended the event, it was a nice mix of the heavyweights and welterweights of the English-language Taiwan Blogsphere. Also in attendance were Mark Forman, Andres Yu along with his lovely wife Karen, friend Jerry, and cousin Becky, Carrie’s fiancé John, and David[Edwards]‘s girlfriend Catherine.

Mark – I know the rocks are intended for the barking dogs, but I am surprised none have been aimed at any pigeons.
Andres – You weren’t too bad… afterall, you did keep to your promise not to sing!
Next time I’ll be there. I had 4 different things to do in 4 different cities/towns last weekend. Reading the blogs today, I think I missed the best one.
Craig – it was a great time. There was a consensus amongst everyone there that there was no way we would wait six months between meet-ups again. Hopefully the next one will be soon.

I certainly hope I get an invite to the next party, it was a fun time for all. I would be alright with making a regular visit back to Hukou. Perhaps we could convince MJ to play host every 3 or 4 months? Keep in touch.
